Greetings and welcome to the I Can International School, Mysore. Here we believe that creating good citizens begins with cultivating compassion, respect, and academic integrity. Diversity is one of our core values, and we strive to inspire our learners to be forces of positive change in the world.
The school is affiliated to The International General Certificate of Secondary Education, developed by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (IGCSE), and offers IGCSE and A Levels (AS and A). This International Board helps learners widen their horizons and emerge as global citizens.
To emerge as a Centre of Excellence which prepares learner to transform into responsible, well-informed Global Citizens who contribute to the betterment of the society in the most transparent, ethical and responsible manner.
Capt Audrey Maben, founder of our school, is a mother to three and an aviator and educator . As an aviator she holds the distinction of being a pioneer in the field of sport aviation in India and holds innumerous records to her credit. I Can was conceptualised in 2008 after she spent a decade working with schools and young adults on outbound aerosport camps. What started as a movement with like minded parents is now attracting the youth to contribute towards developing quality education models in teaching and learning.
A dynamic leader with a strong vision she carries a fresh and unique perspective on childhood and adolescent learning and parenting styles. A non- conformist she has a quick grasp of problems and an equally outstanding, positive and solution-oriented mindset. She is passionately committed to a holistic approach towards child development and hopes to instill in each learner – teacher, student and parent a unique feeling of “I Can”.
The foundation of any successful educational institution rests on its mentors who are dedicated to the noble cause of education. I Can is fortunate to have mentors from diverse backgrounds, and united by common values.
After a rigorous selection process, the school on-boards teachers who share these values and are passionate about imparting learning in a highly engaging, comprehensive manner.
